Water Management Specialists
has developed five different levels of software for the Landscape Irrigation Professional.
 |
Irrigation Design Software
(IDA) -
A fully comprehensive irrigation design program that
assists the irrigation designer through the complete irrigation design process.
This software will increase the design time by 60% regardless if you are
a novice or a seasoned pro irrigation designer. The Irrigation Design
Software, or IDA, will determine the optimum GPM flow for any
water source, (Meter, Well, Pump, Main Line), calculate the
optimum and absolute Head and Row spacing down to the nearest 10th
of inch for any Micro-Climate. The software will calculate the total of
zones needed for all Micro-Climates based on GPM and Watering Windows. It
will provide a "What-If" scenario for alternative water sources, perform
automatic pipe sizing and hydraulic loss calculations. It will then
generate a complete hydraulic statement. The software will automatically
calculate the Precipitation rates for all zones designed and then generate an ET
based irrigation schedule that will comply with the user defined Watering
Window. The IDA will generate a complete bidding and estimating price
including a completer material take-off. The user will be able to utilize
five different vendors in their pricing format. This software has this and
many, many more functions.

 |
Irrigation Scheduler -
An ET (Evapo-Transpiration) scheduling software that is
designed for any end user of an irrigation system, regardless if the user is the
owner or an irrigation professional. The software will calculate the
precipitation rates on all applications of irrigation ranging from spray,
rotators, rotors, or drip irrigation. It will allow the user to determine
precipitation rates from designs, zones already installed, or mixed product
zones. The software will then generate an ET-Based irrigation schedule
based on the systems performance and the purveyors watering window. The ET
values are either pre-determined from historical data bases or created by the
user from alternative weather stations or alternative ET data sets. The ET
data base will allow data from any state or region.
|
 |
Irrigation Inspector -
A complete analysis software that will evaluate and analyze
any irrigation design for compliance with local, county or TCEQ (state of Texas
regulatory agency) state codes or ordinances. It evaluates and analyzes
meter flow rates, zone flow rates, velocities, pipe sizing, backflow, elevation,
component, head spacing, design pressure, and actual head pressure.
If there is a conflict with the design and code/ordinance the software will flag
and display the code/ordinance that was violated giving the inspector the
specific problem with the design. The software can be modified to address
any local irrigation code or ordinance.
|
 |
TCEQ Maintenance Check
List - This software
will assist the the Texas Licensed Irrigator in complying with the TCEQ mandated
codes for developing and providing a "Maintenance Check List" for all irrigation
systems they sell or provide after January 1, 2009. This program assists
the irrigation professional in creating a customized program for their specific
product/manufacturer/brand that are used in the development and installation of
the their irrigation system. This software incorporates the "Irrigation
Scheduler" as well, so the TCEQ and local requirements of providing an "Annual
ET-Based Schedule" is met. This program is easily modified to any products
the professional uses. It is fully adjustable and modifiable to meet each
clients needs and applications.

Drainage
Design Estimator -This software will assist
the landscape drainage professional with a design, flow/load calculations,
component sizing, and bidding and estimating package for surface, sub-surface,
and tertiary landscape problems. It will address surface drains, catch
basins, French drains, Modified French Loop drains, core drains, channel drains,
and swales. It will allow the user to design systems with mechanical and
non-mechanical lift options.
