This 2011 version of our irrigation design software is available in two different versions. A "TEXAS" version and "OTT" (Other Than Texas) version. The "TEXAS" version is designed to comply with all of the State of Texas State Laws as promogulated by the TCEQ. (Texas Commission of Enviornmental Quality) which is the state version of the EPA and is the state agency that has jurisdiction over all irrigation in Texas. In addition, all of the ET (Evapo-Transpiration) parameters are specific to cities in Texas. The "OTT" version does not utilize or invoke any specific requirements of the State of Texas, but follows the Generally Accepted Irrigation Industry Standards such as the BMP's of the Irrigation Association. In addition, there are no Texas ET values, but this version has a "Stand Alone section for ET in which the end user can create their own ET data base for any city or locale that they choose. Once this option is activated then the automatic ET functions will take over.

The software is easy to use and is intuitive. It color coded to assist the user. Any field that is yellow requires a user input, any area that is purple will have a menu driven pull down section, and any area in blue is software generated calculations or response. The software is a wrap around package utilizing Micro-Soft Excel (tm). The user will need to have a current version of Micro-Soft Excel (tm) to operate the software.

The software will provide the solutions sets automatically for the following venues:

SET UP PAGE

	Establishes design parameters for a specific application or job site
	Allows the user to select from four different water sources (Water Meter, Water Well, Pump, Average of 5-7.5 lfs rule)
	Allows the user to establish customized micro-climates
	Allows user to customize drip applications, including "set backs", GPH flow rates
	Allows user to customize the "Watering Window" to meet any and all criteria established by the client or purveyor

ET (Evapotranspiration Rates)

	Allows for ET to be selected from a pre-developed ET for 40 plus cites in Texas or create your own
	Allows the user to create a data base of ET for any city or state in the nation
	Allows for ET to be used for scheduling events, water windows, "what -if scenarios"

HEAD SPACING

	Allows the user to select from 7 pre-determined micro-climates or from 8 user defined micro climates
	Determines the absolute most water efficient head spacing for Spray, Rotors, Rotators, or Drip irrigation for any area. This accuracy is down to the nearest inch!
	Will notify you if the area you are attempting to place a product is not practical due to spacing or efficiency.
	The software will automatically select all the options of the product radius' that is the most efficient for the given area and a given product.
	Allows the user to select nozzle options, body heights, and quantities and transfers this data to the bidding and estimating functions

DRIP DESIGN

	Will allow the user to select the soil types, GPH flow rates, and the "Set Back" distances
	Software will automatically determine the optimized spacing
	Software will automatically calculate the total length of tubing
	Software will automatically calculate the total GPM and GPH for the area
	Software transfer all the data tot he bidding and estimating functions

ZONING

	Will automatically determine the maximum number of zones needed based on your area layouts, the meter size, and static pressure (These attributes would have been determined and selected in the set page)
	Allows you to zone based of the pre-determined micro-climates
	Keeps a running tally of all zones, gallons, and micro-climates
	Will tell you when to keep adding heads to a zone as well as to when you should stop adding heads
	Allow for valve sizing
	Keeps track of all micro-climates and zones

HYDRAULIC SET UP PAGE

	Will automatically progressive pipe size all piping (Laterals, mains, and looped mains) utilized in the hydraulic loss calculation. This will be done utilizing the industry standard 5 LFS rule.
	Will completely calculate the friction losses of all pipe based on the type of pipe, length of pipe, and GPM flow. This is all done utilizing the "Hazen -Williams" formula. Each section is calculated pure, without using loop tables or charts.
	Software will determine the worst case zone automatically or the user can select a specific zone
	Will calculate and display any piping that exceeds 5 linear feet per second with a warning
	Will calculate any elevation pressure loss or gains of the affected zone.
	Will provide and absolute "Yes" or "No" if the zone meets the "Actual Head Pressure" and the "Design Pressure"

AUTO HYDRAULIC STATEMENT

	Automatically calculates all associated friction losses of the defined zone of irrigation
	Displays the total losses for the zone
	Displays the "Actual Head Pressure" for the zone
	Is displayed and presented in a single page to present to a client, inspector, or code enforcement officer

ET SCHEDULING

	Will automatically generate an ET based schedule for the City you are in
	Will use either computer generated ET values or allow for user input values
	Will automatically adjust for each month
	Will automatically adjust the schedule to address violation of watering windows
	Will automatically compress or expand the schedules to comply with watering windows
	Will automatically calculate precipitation rate for each zone based on the actual design parameters not theory values
	Will allow for adjustment factors to comply with city ordinances
	Provides all data for both conventional and drip zones

WATER RATES

	Will calculate the actual tier pricing for water for any given municipality with basic user data input
	Will calculate the actual tier pricing for sewage for any given municipality with basic user data input
	Will calculate the actual tier pricing for irrigation only for any given municipality with basic user data input
	Will calculate the actual cost per gallon for water, sewage, and irrigation only

WATER COSTING

	Will determine the highest ET rate of the year for the city the user selected
	Will automatically calculate the total gallons of each zone for the month based on the actual precipitation rate
	Will automatically calculate the total cost of each zone for the month based on the actual precipitation rate
	Provide total gallons for the selected month
	Provide total cost for the selected month

BIDDING AND ESTIMATING

	Will provide a complete material costing of all components of the irrigation system
	Will provide a complete inventory of the materials required
	Will calculate time and motion values for labor
	Will calculate overhead items
	Will calculate the final price on multiple formats that are user selected

REFERENCE CALCULATIONS

	Provides "digital" friction loss and velocity charts
	Calculates velocity values for any type of pipe or size used in irrigation
	Has many different landscape and irrigation calculations
