ABOUT THE AUTHOR ------ Kurt Hall
He got started in the irrigation training industry in 1988 when he was hired by a Texas college to assist in the development and implementation of an irrigation-training program. This program was funded through a state grant and called for formalized training that could be offered across the state of Texas to all students, regardless of there educational background. He also served as a “Train the Trainer” for the implantation of the program. In 1991 he closed his contracting business became a full time designer, consultant, and trainer. He has developed and copyrighted © several techniques and formulas that are widely used in the design world. He has worked with computer software companies to develop design software specifically for irrigation, and was involved in the development of a “Central Control” software and hardware package for irrigation. Mr. Hall has developed over 38 training manuals in the irrigation, landscape, and drainage industry. He has been training irrigation students for the State of Texas Licensure program since 1988. His students are truly some of the “Who’s Who” in the irrigation industry in Texas. Mr. Hall is a Texas Licensed Irrigator and an I. A. certified Irrigation Auditor. Kurt, his wife Diana, and their son Kyle reside outside of Moody, Texas. |
