Course Description: The
course is a six (6) day course that is approved for 48+ hours in duration.
It is scheduled for three (3) days with a week break in between, then the
remaining three (3) days. This is done so that you can still take care of
work, family, and have some semblance of a life. The workshop comes with
the Basic Irrigation Systems Design manual, scheduling
software, bidding and estimating software, ET Charts for the state, and
worksheets on disk format that will assist you in the design process. Our
workshop is taught by the author of the training manual, who also owns 3
copyrighted design techniques approved by the TCEQ, has over 21 books on
irrigation published, and has a proven track record in design and training.
Homework is provided with the completion of class. The completed designs
will be critiqued by a WMS instructor . The results are sent to the student
along with suggestions and an additional design. This process will be done
up to your exam date. This is not a new program for us, we have been doing
it for the past three years. Our workshop is taught by an instructor who has
worked in the irrigation industry as a contractor and as a designer. The
design processes which you will utilize in this workshop was developed by
the senior instructor. The class includes three "realistic" designs in the
class room plus the state required exit design.

Course Description: This
workshop is prepared for licensed irrigation professional designing
irrigation systems at the residential, commercial and institutional levels.
This workshop will address all of the key issues that are required in the
proposed TCEQ rule changes. This workshop is a two day workshop that
will take the irrigator from the initial site visit all the way through the
generation of the "hydraulic statement" and ET based irrigation schedule.
The irrigator will complete the comprehensive design that is provided by the
TCEQ for training purposes of a "typical design". This design will
utilize rotors, sprays, and drip irrigation. The project includes
shrubbery and turf. In addition, the property has a 16.7 foot
elevation change and is the property has clay soils. This workshop
will show the irrigator how to determine the most optimum spacing,
select the most correct products, maintain complete compliance with all TCEQ
design standards, and design turf with drip irrigation. In addition,
the workshop will show the irrigation designer the most optimum process for
zoning for both high and low water pressure and GPM scenarios.

Description:
This workshop is designed for those individuals in need of a practical
“Hands – On” approach to the installation process of an irrigation system.
This workshop will assume nothing, and will start at the beginning and build
a foundation from this point. The how and why will be explained. As the name
implies, the student will be actively involved with the components. The
student will physically tap into a mock up water meter and make the cross
connection tap. You will work with PVC, copper, and poly tubing. You will be
cutting pipe, wiring valves, working with a multi-meter, and hold all the
parts and pieces you have been talking about. This workshop will include
tapping the water source, components, parts and pieces, sweating copper,
solvent welding, swing joints, valve installation and configuration,
backflow, electrical wiring, wiring in a rain switch, wiring in a
controller, head installation and pipe installation.

will take the student from concept to site assessment, client
